Reach For The Sun

Gotta give love to some hometown dudes. Baltimore-based The Dangerous Summer have taken leaps in bounds with their debut full-length Reach For The Sun. Big sound with heart-pumping drums and bass coming together to form one sound. Guitars needling throughout the tracks, making you feel like you're listening to the Earth spin. Singer/bassist A.J. Perdomo's vocals and lyrics resemble another major vocalist/bassist (stop me if you've heard this before) Kenny Vasoli of The Starting Line. Every cut transitions smoothly into the other. There are a lot of pop-rock bands coming outta B-more, but these guys might be the ones to put the Charm City on the map for something else than The Wire. Dope show though..Get at em
