Words cannot describe how pissed I was when I found out Kings of Leon canceled their summer tour before they got to the D.C. area because of sickness/intra-band squabble. On top of that, missing opener Band of Horses was collateral damage. The alt-country boys took to Conan's stage to rectify the situation delivering a bombastic rendition of the title-track off Infinite Arms. Job well done.
Made a happy ending for myself too as I'm leaving to catch Virginfest 2011 (Black Keys, Cee-Lo Green, Deadmau5, Big Sean) in a few minutes. Say that makes up for it too.
