The Weeknd has finally released the third and final installment in his mixtape trilogy. Simply judging from the opening track, a spot-on tribute to the King of Pop with "D.D.", it's clear the kid has found the hallowed middle ground between "experimental" and "pop". No it's not as good as his debut House of Balloons, but it's also not as weird as Thursday. If this is post-Take Care Abel Tesfaye, I'm really excited to see him continue to grow. Just have to know this might be the last time we get a full LP for free.
