I had now idea how the hell MGMT were gonna top 2008 breakout Oracular Spectacular? Look no further than "Flash Delirium", the first track of their new album Congratulations, set to drop April 13th. The psychedelic experimentation continues as the duo use the track to drift from a somber shoe-gaze intro into a more expected sun-drenched acid-pop sound they've perfected. Just think Animal Collective with more mainstream appeal. For all ya'll who it hasn't clicked with yet, it's not the type of song you can form an opinion on after one listen...give it time and it'll come. Can't wait to hear what else Congratulations has in store.
