Pitchfork got exclusive digs on the first song off The Hold Steady's new record Heaven Is Whenever. Didn't think it was possible to find anything to like more than the album's artwork, but with heavy chords and Craig Finn's street lines like "You know I'll never ask you to change/I'll only ask you to try" and an uplifting chorus would still make The Boss proud. Stay positive!
