The Shins give us a first taste of what's to come from their forthcoming Ports of Morrow, their first LP since 2007's breakthrough Wincing the Night Away. They've thinned out their lineup a bit, dropping former members Dave Hernandez and Marty Crandall from the touring band, but James Mercer's washing ahh-ahh and the bouncy bassline ensures they don't miss a beat.
Ports of Morrow is out in March.
