There's been a number of acoustic renditions off American Slang, but this one recently dropped by Banquet Records might be the best. Brian Fallon gets all 50s, doo-wop over a bare staccato guitar and a tinkering bell. This version might not have the same hard-charging sound of the original, but it packs the same about of punch.
