Lupe Fiasco has a lot of work to do to recapture the massive amount of credibility he lost after he forewent his creatively conscious stylings to hop on the club banger hype train on LASERS. "Bitch Bad" is a good first step, though. Breaking down the etymology of "bitch", Wasalu calls out his peers for their misogynist ways in perfect tongue-and-cheek fashion, punctuated with thick 808 drops. Still not sold on Food & Liquor 2: The Great American Rap Album, Pt. 1, mostly because it's title alone hints Lupe isn't totally past the overblown self-importance thing, but it's a long way until September 25th.
