Rumor has it that Nas is in the studio working on the follow up to his controversial/excellent 2008
Untitled LP. The old school breakneck single
"Nasty"was a great start, but God Son's just upped the ante when he dropped "The Don" last night. Backed by a gritty, reggae-tinged beat co-produced by the late Heavy D, Nas spitfires head-spinning verses that recall the best points of his classics, most notably my personal favorite Illmatic. There is no release date for the record yet, but as long as it drops as soon as possible, I'll be happy. Hear it below.
