All you prog rock fans, the good news is not over! Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodríguez-López's decision to reunite with At The Drive-In for Coachella stops and a tour,--a decision I have absolutely zero qualms with--cast speculation onto whether The Mars Volta were dead. That question was promptly answered with a defiant "fuck no!". The band announced they will release Noctourniquet on March 27th and revealed it's jazzy and pyschedelic single "The Malkin Jewel" which sees Mr. Bixler-Zavala's vocals at their most manic.
