Director Shan Nicolson grew up in "the ‘Old New York’ during a time when necessity often bred creativity.” The story is re-told here...well, except that Nicolson's life isn't set to some genius instrumentals crafted at the hands of Def Jux mastermind El-P. Comes off Weareallgoingtoburninhellmegamixxx3 which I'll be picking up riiiight now.
